Thank you for creating for me. My general DNW and likes are in the sign up form so I won’t repeat myself. Here are some prompts, mostly for fics. In Silmarillion fandom I sort characters sort of thematically, but you could mix worldbuilding tags as I’m interested in all of them, and sometimes I wanted to repeat them, but it’s not allowed. Only the “Numenorean set” is kind of separated. Of course you don’t have to follow my prompts. I have only one request – to not include Aredhel/Eol in positive light in fics.

Aredhel (Silm)
I really like Aredhel. She is so free-spirited, and interesting character. For this prompt something solely about her (as I have prompts with her and other characters). How was her life like in Aman, or why did she choose to left with Turgon to Gondolin? There is many opportunity. Note: I Eol/Aredhel in positive, non-abusive way is my NoTP. Please don’t include it (I also not a fan of reading abusive relationship, so yeah, but I would swallow it easier).

Group: Aredhel & Maeglin (Silm)
Time to explore relationship between mother and son. I think they love each other deeply, and maintain close relationship through Maeglin’s childhood. I love to read fic set in this period. I would also love to read post reembodiment fic, after all what’s happened to Maeglin, and how Aredhel would react to this. Note: I Eol/Aredhel in positive, non-abusive way is my NoTP. Please don’t include it (I also not a fan of reading abusive relationship, so yeah, but I would swallow it easier).

Group: Maeglin & Eärendil (Silm)
Did Maeglin hate Eärendil, or did they have at least proper relationship before the fall? Maybe Eärendil even liked his uncle, and his treason came as shock to him? How Idril react to them interacting?

Group: Maeglin/Finduilas (Silm)
I know, I know, canonical they never met. But something about their stories, the parallels, knowing that Finduilas liked brooding men with black swords, and Maeglin liked blond haired princesses make me ship those two.
Give me wild AU. Maybe Maeglin and Aredhel ended in Nargothrond after all?? Maybe Finduilas was rescued by Maeglin and ended in Gondolin? Or maybe they met after reembodiment, in Valinor?
There are many possibilities and I would welcome any.

Group: Maeglin & Turgon
I headcanon Turgon was sort of father figure to Maeglin, after Eol’s death. I don’t read Turgon as malicious or in any way hostile toward Maeglin, I’m rather fan of interpretation where Turgon loves Maeglin, and vice versa, which only made Maeglin’s treason worse.

Group: Ecthelion & Idril (Silm)
This prompt may serve as exploration of relations between Idril and lords of Gondolin. Did she have any agenda in ruling the city? Or maybe something more private for this two… Did Ecthelion help Idril in upbringing of her son? Did Ecthelion had any family in the city? I lowkey ship him with Glorfindel, but it’s not required, if you want him to have some OC wife or husband, it’s totally okay.

Group: Idril & Maeglin (Silm)
Did Idril really see through Maeglin first time she saw him? Or it was rather later addition to Silmarillion, to show her as so good in reading people? How did she treat him, did she know he is lusting after her? Was she kind toward him, or hostile from the beginning? There s many to explore in this relationship.

Group: Celegorm/Aredhel
I think they make perfect match, both because of their characters and hobbies. Maybe at the beginning it was just a friendship, which later led to something more. Maybe some happy time in Valinor, before everything fall apart. Or how they felt after the Helcaraxe. Or maybe the day when Aredhel and Maeglin left Nan Elmoth and met with Celegorm and Curufin for a while.

Group: Luthien/Celegorm (Silm)
Two people called fair – isn’t that telling? Maybe Celegorm eventually seduce Luthien? Maybe Beren died earlier during the quest, and Lúthien wanted to move on, so Celegorm didn’t seem to her as such bad choice. I think different take on Beren and Lúthien relationship would be also interesting – I mean by it that for her it was something more temporary, maybe way of rebel against her father so she lost interest in it when she proved her point. And then Celegorm showed up.

Group: Maglor/Maglor's Wife (Silm)
I love my version of their story, and I love stories with OCs. Give me your take on them. Was she singer, just like her husband? Or maybe she was more firmly on the ground and it was the case of “opposites attracts”? Was she Nolde or maybe from Teleri, like I frequently see in some works? Did she follow Maglor to Beleriand, or stay in Aman, and that’s why we don’t know anything about her?

Maglor (Silm)
Maglor, one of most interesting for me characters in the Silmarillion. Maglor during Ages? His earlier life in Valinor Or maybe he managed to return home after ages, and rebuild relationships with his loved ones?

Maglor's Wife (Silm)
Who was she? How she met Maglor and how they grow to love each other? Did she follow hi into Exile, and if not, what she was doing in Valinor after Darkening? If she did follow him, what impact she had on his decisions, his life? Did she survive First Age?

Group: Maglor/Elwing (Silm)
Maybe Maglor tried different ways to regain the Silmaril than only war path? Maybe he tried to seduce Elwing, and he succeed.

Group: Haleth/Caranthir (Silm)
I like romances between a male elf and female human, as you may see from my request. I prefer this relationship to be mutual, not some sad pining on one of the sides. Of course it may be just brief romance, after which Haleth rejects Caranthir and his help, but some happy ending (in AU) would be also welcome. And I like a take on how their relationship affects their roles in their respective societies.

Group: Fëanor & Findis & Fingolfin & Lalwen & Finarfin (Silm)
Sibling dynamics, yay! Was Feanor really hostile to all his half-siblings? Or did he hold grudge only against Fingolfin? What about the girls? How did they react to this conflict? When its started? When Fingolfin was already grown man, or earlier?

Group: Celegorm/Lúthien/Beren (Silm)
Why not both? Asked Luthien. Aka AU where everyone was happy, Celegorm regain Silmaril alongside Beren and Luthien, no second kinslaying happening, etc.

Group: Curufin & Maeglin (Silm)
They may be friends, if they get to met each other. AU where Aredhel stays with Celegorm and Curufin, or maybe reembodient AU.

Group: Fëanor/Nerdanel (Silm)
Happy days of their marriage or young love. O don’t want Feanor bashing or showing him as an awful husband, who thinks only of himself. If you want to go for AU, either Feanor released from Mandos earlier than Dagor Dagorath and reunited with Nerdanel or Nerdanel going to Beleriand, where he lives long enough to reconcile with a wife.

Group: Aegnor/Andreth
Another male elf/human female pairing (only one canonical). I’m always willing to read more about them. It’s one of my favorite canonical pairing, and honestly, I’m not sure why, given there is only few lines suggesting their romance. But it always make me cry.

I would like to read how they met or how they come to love. I would welcome also AU where they stay together – how it change their fates? Or maybe how Aegnor decided that it would be better for them to break up? I have strange conviction that Finrod played part in it.

Friendship or love between those two. Or maybe something in between? Anaire left her husband and children for Earwen, so their friendship must be really important for her. Did tey met before they get married or after they were sisters-in-law?

Group: Olwë & Finarfin (Silm)
I especially interested in their relationship after the First Kinslaying. Did they remain I familial relationship, or were they hostile to each other (I would be mainly interested on Olwe part).

Group: Ingwion & Finarfin (Silm)
Did they have any private relationship or was it rather purely political? What position in Vanyarin court Ingwion hold?

Group: Elemmírë/Findis
I headcanon Elemmírë to be female. Did Findis stay because of her love for her? How society reacted to their relationship? Were they able to be open about it, or they rather had to hide?

Nerdanel being her own person. Especially after the Darkening.

Numenorean queens: any fic exploring women, and women on positions of power in Numenor (even if power only apparent, as in case of Tar-Míriel). How their gender affected their rulling and relationship with subjects and power.

How she reacted to Sauron? Was she against him all along? Did she fake worshipping Morgoth alongside Sauron? Did he see through her?

Group: Elrond & Elros (Silm)
How Elrond react to Elros choice to be mortal? Did they remain close after Elros ledt for Numenor?

Elros' Wife (Silm)
Group: Elros/Elros' Wife (Silm)
Establishing Numenor, and role of Elros’ wife in it. Who she was? Woman not even mentioned in book as first king’s consort had to have important role.

Group: Tar-Telperiën/Original Female Character (Silm)
I imagine Telperien as very dominant and willful woman. She like to have everything under control. Maybe she is such also in relationship? And maybe she needs rather someone who could face her, who would be as strong as she and their relationship would be constant power struggle?

How did she feel, omitted during succession? What was her position in society? Good opportunity to explore women’s position in Numenorean society.

They both must be pretty alienated in Gondor, both dealing with cultural differences. It may make them come closer. Maybe Arwen frequently visited Ithilien, and that’s how they came to be closer, much closer than friends.

Our all-time favorite canon couple! Something about them after the timeline of the books, established relationship is my jam. How they live in Ithilien, how Eowyn cope with her new role as a healer.
